How we create sparks

Our curriculum introduces modern career paths early, through fun, dynamic learning experiences.

Critical Thinking

Teaching kids to analyze real-world issues logically and approach complex obstacles with a clear strategy.

Industry Caliber

Curricula directly synced with current tech breakthroughs, industry sectors, and modern academic guidelines.

Future Innovators

Igniting sparks early on so computer science and engineering feel second-nature to youth.

Franchise

An international brand ‘STEM for kids’ is winning accolades in education and entrepreneurial circle. Our story started in Raleigh, North Carolina in 2011. I was determined to change my busy life, so as to focus on my children. The day we were using a piece of paper to make bridge across two paper cups, the 1st couldn’t even hold 1 pencil, so we kept working until it could hold 20. Being inspired we stayed very creative at the time.

// our story

From one school club to three centers

STEM For Kids Ethiopia opened its first classroom in 2011, running a small after-school robotics club. Word spread, and today we run year-round Robotics, Programming, and Engineering tracks out of three centers across Addis Ababa — Mechare, Summit AICC, and Varnero — for children aged 4 to 17.

We've also taken the program beyond our own centers: partnering with schools like Bingham Academy and Birhan Ber School, and running a free program for more than 100 girls at Etege Menen Girls Boarding School — several of whom went on to become paid STEM Coach Assistants themselves.
